What we do as Consultants
Our experience and knowledge in construction and refurbishment, damp source investigation, prevention and cures and building regulations are a highly valued asset which is available to you on a consultancy basis. We will assist you in procurement and design of steelwork, provide plans and/or structural calculations, project management, testing and certification including landlords certificates, trade and professional recommendations, applications, surveys and advice.
Our services are used by professionals and contractors to allow their own projects to benefit from the range of skills we offer and the specialists we employ. As well as our trade side, we are being more frequently used by private clients or home owners who are project managing their own new builds, extensions or alteration works. Our costs are based on trade rates and do not increase for private users.

Our Costs
Our costs are simple and transparent with NO hidden costs. We charge £50 per hour plus VAT for our time spent working on your project. This includes 15min billing periods for office based services such as applications, emails and phone calls and 1 hr billing periods for site visits and meetings including travel time. You will be billed either per week, per month or per amount, depending on the project and your personal choice of payment option.

Structural Calculations and Building Plans
​Our 'in house' team can provide structural calculations and plans for your project (these charges are not based on our standard rates and all structural calculation work and plans will be quoted separately prior to work commencing). We can undertake a site survey and provide the necessary plans and full calculations shortly after or we can work with your own professionally created architectural plans if you already have some. Costs are based on the work involved and each project will vary. You will be provided with a fixed price quotation for your consideration prior to any work commencing.
